Sean
Sean thumbnail
Sean Skillfully slow-paced, atmospheric, and heavy with some of the most unique and perfectly pitched vocals I have heard in a long time. I find the album (as well as their previous EP) mesmerizing and expect it will be a daily listen for many a moon.
The Itzamna Collective
The Itzamna Collective thumbnail
The Itzamna Collective Sam has the most incredible & uniquely haunting voice, A mesmeric instrument, so distinctive & beautiful, fragments of Cocteau Twins & Dead Can Dance stir in the performance even though it's swirling amongst an abyssal sea of distortion. At times theses songs feel like fading away, into memories, into night, into the woods or dark water.

I still love "Shrouded" too. Every release/song reveals monumental natural talent. Versatile, pure mood, nuanced, hypnotic patterns, empty spaces, love it all.

Have I conceded Did I abandon you I'll light the fire And I will climb in Watch me turn to Ashes and smoke A ghost inside me Alone I must kill Embers Fall on my skin Sacred A sacred destruction Sacred Burgeoning Flicker Breathe in Cry out In the deep In me A galaxy

Untracing 10:09
Hopeful uttering Edifice created Does untracing erase? Compulsion masquerades as.. Fawning Crawling Is it safe? Gripping Burying Has it changed? Eirene, put me to bed Let your breath graze my head Distant voices rise and fade Sweet, shallow dreaming God, just to hear it from another room Now I can fade Earnest is my gaze Has it changed? Fawning Crawling Is it safe? Gripping Burying Has it changed? Flickering on the horizon Red and green Against the black Untracing A she-wolf bellowing And she howled into the nothing Now she wanders Towards her north star Now she drinks from her own cup Now I drink from my own cup Now I'm going home

Astronomical Before the light Uncertainty A changing thing Uncertainty Into eternity The beauty

Is this Unbroken? Leaden Passing time Sound Peeling off And it's falling Sonic dust Planks In this house Deteriorate A long decay And through the cracks Windy silence Whistling, reclaiming My daughter, my son With your arms in slings Our extremities Numb from the coldest days I built this fire For those darker things The machines That made us old x2 A mother for An ocean unseen No one heard Your waves crashing Lift the cloud veil From the glowing moon A mother to pour the light on you An alchemy A strange glow This will be a permanent thing O Children A permanent thing Those vile and ancient songs We won't ever sing Those vile and ancient songs We won't ever have to sing
